Taban Air (Persian: تابان ایر) is an airline headquartered in Tehran, Iran, with its main operational base in Mashhad. It operates international, domestic and charter routes as a scheduled carrier. The airline was established on 2005 and started operations in 2006. Taban Air was founded by Captain Asghar Abdollahpour. Taban Air operates the following services (as of March 2009) [1]: * Domestic scheduled destinations:Ahvaz, Birjand, Chabahar, Isfahan, Kermanshah, Khark Island, Kish Island, Mahshahr, Mashhad, Rasht, Sarakhs, Shiraz, Tabriz, Tehran, Yazd, Zahedan * International scheduled destinations: Almaty, Damascus, Dubai, Istanbul. The Taban Air fleet includes the following aircraft (as of 31 March 2009) [2]: * 2 BAe 146-300 (which are leased from Bulgaria Air) * 7 Tupolev Tu-154M (two aircraft are operated by Tajik Air and four aircraft are operated by Kolavia)
